A bit shy, Kashin also lacks the backbone to really stick up for himself, but when push comes to shove, he does everything he can to be supportive and protective of the people he loves most, especially his family.

A feral child of the Overgrowth, Kaze Miyamoto was raised by an Ayakashi. After training her for survival, he abandoned her to the humans the same way she was abandoned by her human parents as an infant, but her lack of social conduct and unnerving positivity made most of her fellow humans uncomfortable. Finding a kindred spirit in Kei, Kaze “adopted” her very own sibling and has been by his side ever since.

Kei Nagisa is a guarded but kind individual who carefully navigates through life, constantly keeping those around him at arm’s length, save for Kaze. For the most part, he remains a bit of a mystery to his peers, but due to his loyal and reliable nature, no one bothers questioning his past. He lives alone with Kaze in the Outskirts, working hard on his inventions to make up for his secret lack of spiritual ability.

Now functioning independently, he questions the violent relationship between humans and Ayakashi and whether they should be allowed to coexist.

Once a monk-in-training, Zeiryo Shishimaru is now pursuing the life of a Warden at the Koukai Agency. With his piercing gaze and permanently furrowed brow, he is an intense and intimidating figure with the power and skill to match. Despite abandoning his spiritual practice for an antithetical one, he still upholds his Buddhist tenets to the best of his ability.
