Tatsuki Izumi is a timid, easily frightened, neurotic bundle of nerves with little memory of his life before the trauma of being swept up in the Second Wave of the Overgrowth’s attack on Chuushu. After nearly being killed, Tatsuki suffered from mutism for a few years. Now functioning independently, he questions the violent relationship between humans and Ayakashi and whether they should be allowed to coexist.
